Planaria

I have a small outbreak of planaria. I know it is caused by overfeeding which is what I have been doing. Lesson learned.

How do I get rid of them?

I gravel vac every week and I always add salt to the tank when I do water changes.

Whats your stock list in the tank? If you don't have overly aggressive, large fish, you could try adding a blue or pearl gourami. They are the bane of planaria.

I got two clown knifes. I don't feed them any live food so they are peaceful. Thanks for the advice.

same problem but my endlis wouldea the gouramis

planaria can be removed with w/c's more so then feedings in my experience. i ran 40% W/C ever 3days for 2weeks and they disappeared. however are you sure they are planaria and not a nematode?

Yeah 100% sure it's not nemetode. I know that I have been feeding them too much. I'll slow down on the feeding and do a few WC and I hope they will disappear.

dont waste your money... just keep up with weekly WC and cut down on feedings. they will disappear
