Newbie question, do the recirculating pumps just chew up any live plankton, thus negating the benefit of sourcing real sea water?

Anyone any idea? Can you get bellows style pumps that would give them a better chance?

im sure theres a bit of truth to the theory, but most of the live will live within the Display tank, preserving live, one would think anyways lol. good luck
