Im planning on building a fairly large enclosure here soon. Will be some where close to 700 gallons roughly 4' tall 8' long and 3' thick.

being the size of it im only gonna have one window in the front, the rest will be made of plywood (3/4 or thicker) fiberglassed over to seal and strenthen. Being the lenght and height of it I am planning on making it so that the front window actually sets inside a frame of plywood and fiberglass with supports running up and down in two or three places to support the window further. I was thinking that if I have the window supported well like I think it will be as I discribed I can get away using 3/8" acrylic glass. Or would that still be too thin for a 4' tall enclosure?

( granting that the support on top, bottom and sides that will frame the glass will be approx 6" tall so the viewing window will actually be 3' x 7' )

any advice or comments grately appreciated!
