It is currently an all male African tank, I am working on selling those guys off.

Want to set it up with large pollys (ornates and a couple of the smaller lower jaws) and a couple of Oscars, and maybe one or two other high personality fish.

Filtration is 2 FX6s 1 AC110 and a HUGE sponge.

I will be pulling most of the sub out (ph buffering) and replacing it with a mix of VERY fine gravel and sand.

This would be my first dive into larger new world cichlids so any feed back is welcome. The tank is 5x2x2.5

I plan on decorating it with some medium and large rock work as well as a web of interlaced drift wood along the back of the tank to create some hides and shelter for a few large Anubis and maybe some sheltered water Lilly's planted in pots.

Sounds like a great tank!
It is tall so maintenance may be a little difficult, but it also allows other possibilities. I like the 24 inch width. I just have a standard 125g, so yours sounds so much nicer. Good luck with your new world fish.
