So, my husband and I have been planning our dream tank and are saving up money for it. We've been wobbling between a 300gal or 1000gal. Well today, we decided to go for the gusto! We'll be doing this in a year or two( maybe longer, depending on lifes surprises), we're saving as much as possible so our tank will be everything we dreamed of. I was wondering if you guys with monster tanks could tell me about how everything's set up. How much did your tank cost, glass, acrylic, did u make your own filter, and who lives there? Stuff like that. An estimate of set-up price and upkeep prices would be great too. When the money has been saved I want to know as much as possible! Any advice, suggestions, or links to your tank pics maybe? ANYTHING is appreciated! Thanks! Oh, we're not sure exactly who is going in there yet.
