So i drew a picture of what i was thinking... i would use a spare 20G, and one of those cheap plastic cabinets. my idea was to drill two 1" holes in the two drawers in the front. and the intake tube off the pump would be sealed to the bottom drawer in the middle. I've never build on of these before, so any input or corrections will be appreciated. correct me if I’m wrong, but would this provide duel filtration. because the water would get pulled from those 1" holes. or is that completely wrong? thanks in advance.

good luck man, everything seems to make sense.. now to just make it come to life lol

You need to seal the other drawers somewhat so you have a flow from the top down otherwise it will draw from the sides.

Skip the holes in the drawer front drawers they will only confuse the flow.

Are you drilling the drawer bottoms or replacing them with egg crate for the drip plates.

Lift the bottom drawer off the bottom an inch or two for circulation (put an air stone there) and raise the pump 2" off the bottom but don't connect it to the drawer, just leave it at the other end of the sump.
