Hello my fellow mfk's, well as the title says i'm planning my first plwood build for my aro.
the dimensions will be around 180 cm long by 100cm wide by 65 high, coming in close to 300 gallons

few questions here:

-The thickest plywood i can get in 3/4" thick, will that be enough?

-How think will the front panel of glass be? im looking at it being 160cm long and 55cm high?

-Inside the tank, can i use fiberglass? and marine epoxy?

-I plan on having the edges both glues and screwed? will that be enough?

the earliest i can start is in a month as i have my examinations for A levels this month. I am honestly a big noob at this, been reading and checking out some of the builds but i thought id rather get some input from the pro's.

Any input is welcome. thanks :D:popcorn:

I'm curious about this too, I want to eventually build a plywood tank and I know nothing about the fiber glassing process just that its good to do it in the seams.

Go to the stick at the top that includes several DIY builds and start reading the threads. There are builds there that use about every material you can think of. That is the best way to gather information. All of the tanks in that section held water. Also feel free to read about my build by following the link at my signature.
