what should I have on the 30 gallons to support the reef...like for example...pumps,filters,heaters,subtrate ETC....I got a Filter thats been running on Freshwater but nuthing in the tank no more....no fish,no ornaments, just freshwater and play sand.I got the heater in it too thats everything has been running for over 2 years now...used to have a convict pair in their....but sold them.Should I take all te water out and replace it with new declorinated water and added sea salt to it with a Hydrometer? Also whats the specific gravity for Reefs...? planning on have like 2 or so True Percula clownfish,a mandarin goby ( I lve the colorations in it ) some lil shrimps and a few crabs as clean up.Oh also what about a blue tang like in Finding Nemo? Can any of those lil boxfishes go into the tank with the clownfish and inverts.? or will they eat them or even kill them once in? Oh yea and im going to change my subtrate to live aragonite sand. Some live rocks and other stuff to accomodate after the saltwater is finalized in conversion

if it may not work out please let me know what can go together in the tank that wont need any upgrading of some sort...but just in case after i move my freshwater CA/SA and RTC and Arowanas into the outdoor pond i'll be making soon i'll probably move them into the 55 gallon when i make that a saltwater

stick with just the 2 percs, mandarin gobies have a record of refusing to eat anything but 'pods and starving in small tanks and blue tangs(all the tangs for that matter) need much longer tanks because of their very active swimming patterns, many consider 6' long tanks to be min.

im still waiting on the 240 gallon they had at this one LFS near by...their having shipments of many large tank. But I was planning on using it for freshwater but heck with it ill go with saltwater
