Right now I'm in the planning stage for a plywood tank. It will be a while before I build it. I'm curious in that do I have to use fiberglass to strengthen the tank up, or could I use other materials. Would it be possible to build a frame of wood around the outside of the tank to reinforce it? The size that I'm thinking of for the tank would be 4' by 2' by 2' tall. Thanks to anyone who helps me out with my question. As I said before, it will be quite a while before I start the build.

Thanks everyone for you input. I have plenty of 1/2" plywood. I'll begin to work on it at the end of the month when I have a little bit more funds to get all of the other materials that is needed.

I recommend while you're waiting for the right time to start your build, scour the forums here and everywhere else. Google it. Download & print as much info as you can. You can always come back here and ask too.
Good luck and have fun.
