Planning to get an arowana tank

remember the tank size given there is MINIMUM.. ask yourself the question what is the max that you can do.. you wouldn't say i'd be happy in a 10X10 room all my life cos i can move around will you?
i've never had a jar.. but jar owners claim them to be aggressive.. and some say mellow.. really depends on the fish.. so stay away from tank mates if you plan on a getting a 12".. but you could try if it was really small.. say about 4" to 6"..
about filters.. its better to over filter than under filter.. hang on i'm sure there are more people with valuable info to give.. all the best.. cheers..
