Planning to keep Discus...

Hi fellow keepers, I'm planning to keep around 3 pairs of discus in a 75 gallon tank..i already have the experience and the equipment to do so but i would like to make sure as these fishes are quite expensive...any added info would be very much obliged..Thanks.

Two words, water quality...........

1. Water quality
2. Water changes (lots of them, daily)
3. Heat - keep these fish really warm
4. High quality food.
5. Lots of filtration.

You don't have to pay alot of money for quality discus. There are excellent "backyard" breeders out there that offer quality discus at great prices. Check out simplydiscus.com for more info.........

It's not so much as water changes, to me it's all about water turn over rate.......
