planning to turn 55 into cichlid tank!! plezz help!!!!

ok heres the deal im plannin on changin my whole tank setup ill be takin out my gravel and river rocks n ima put in sand...i want to switch my tank to cichlids and oscars but there r some fish tht i relly lyk tht i have tht i wud hate to get rid off....... i would lyk to keep my 2 JD's at 3 in a peice and i wud also lyk to keep my blu channel tht is 6 in long......ny suggestions of ny more fish tht i could put in lyk oscars or cichlids????????

by the time your jd's are full gorwn there will be very little room for any other fish,
so i reccomend not adding anything, but scraping the channel cat< they get huge

If you are going to jump someone's case for their post, at least use proper grammer yourself. Ofcourse what we don't need is some high and mighty jack off running around derailing posts. t

As you may have read your 55g is to small for much of any type cichlid community. Best bet is to upgrade to a larger tank or go with smaller cichlids such as Firemouths or Jewels.
