plans for new tank

Alright getting a 55 gal for my two piranhas, wondering if you think i could put one more piranha with them?

I assume your talking about Red Bellies.
You'll be ok for somewhere around a year with proper care in a 55 before you'll need to upgrade to a larger tank.

yeah RBP sorry forgot to put that in, still what else should i get i would like to try something new not another member of the Pygocentrus family unless its a Caribe

lol i know there always a chance thell kill each other, but sometimes the limits need to be pushed in order to experiment but im always changing my mind

pygo will only live with pygo..its not an experiement..they will be killed..the other species are solo animals. esp in a 55

what about Gold Piranha (Serrasalmus Spilopluera) or Red Spilo (Serrasalmus Sanchezi), but most likly ill stick with other pygo

Serras don't work with pygos.
especially in that small of a tank. They would destroy your reds fins eventually leading to one of the species having to be removed.
