ok so currently in my sig is what i have in my 55gal,,,, planning on buying a 125gal very soon,,, future fish that i want to have in my 125gal are my trimac,, a buttikoferi,, a pike cichlid preferably (Xingu I), my 2 violet gobies, and maybe a bichir maybe polypterus senegalus?? u guys think it can work??? would a 125 gal be enough room for these guys???

hmm wuz really interested in gettin a butti = / u think the trimac and just the butti will do in a 125gal??? btw i think my trimac might actually be a flowerhorn,,, if it is could it work?
you're talking about two very aggressive species with the potential to reach 15" or more. if you happen to wind up with both being female then maybe but if you wind up with 2 males then I seriously doubt it will work out. I'd personally leave both species out if you're trying to go for some kind of community.
I take it you were planning on raising them all up - That sounds like it may work - just keep an eye on the cichlids - but the violet gobies will definitely get killed quickly.
yes im planning on raisin em up from 1 inchers,,, but doesnt matter if the gobies get killed there not my fish its my lil brothers fish and he dont take care of em i do lolz but in the end when i get my 125gal im hoping to have my i think female trimac, a male butti or female doesnt matter, and a pike cichlid prolly Xingu I....then hopefully they can live in there for 2-3 years and upgrade when needed. oh yeh and i have my 5 inch striped raphael cat too which im hoping to at least get 9 inches when i upgrade... anywayze what do u guys think????? i think it can work
