Hey, just wondering if anyone out there has used plant fertilizers in a tank with stingrays. Also what brand did you use? I've read the backs of a bunch and none say that they aren't safe for any fish, but i just want to make sure. Thanks!

I'm not an expert but maybe the so called "root tabs" would do the job - just shove them deep into the substrate and hopefully your tank is covered with something fine like sand or something so that it would be harder for the ferts to get into the water ... just an idea ;) but once again I never kept rays

thanks for the suggestions and input, may as well stay away from it. and nice avatar VOYTEK

I wouldn't chace it myself. Increases in nitrates can cause stress and lead to disease. Either don't worry about plants or use hardy ones that don't need much attention. No matter what, they will be toast when your rays get bigger unless your tank is massive.
