but in the long run your better off with dry fertz as liquid gets a lil expensive unless money isnt a problem.

Agree with the Seachem. Their fertilizers are great. But as was mentioned, dry ferts are much cheaper.

Seachem Excel and a DIY Co2 kit will make your plants massive in a months time. Don't overdose on the Excel and watch for PH spikes with the Co2.

Where can dry ferts be purchased? Everyone says they're the best route, but I'm having troubles finding them. Also is there a dry option for excel? As far as seachem goes, I've been buying 2 liter bottles on Amazon. Flourish and excel run about $35 each and would cost me almost twice as much if I went to PETsMART or my lgs and bought multiple small bottles.

for kno3 get spectracide stump remover (walmart),for kh2po4 get fleet enema (walmart), chelated trace elements aka Plantex CSM+B
aka seachem flourish (nursery, hydroponics).

i unaware of an alternative option to excel so to cut down cost replace flourish with the chelated trace mix
