bellevue, ne
i just recently planted my tank with two java verns and a few others i also got Nutrafin: plant gro i added the recomended amount. today i did my routine water change and i was wondering if i should add more or any suggestions for something better.

the plants i bought have a bit of black spots on the plants and some yellowing, they have decent roots. how long should i expect it to take for these to be revived or did i get ripped off?

You haven't given us enough info. What size tank, how much light, are you adding Co2, etc. I know you said you added some ferts but how about you bio load? Is it light, heavy? Give us some more info and I can help.

I always add when I do a water change, I use Kent Freshwater Plant.

i wouldn't add fertilizer unless you have a decent amount of plants. from my personal experience, it gave me a case of green water and red ass. i couldn't get rid of it. right now though, i am using seachem flourish and kent blackwater expert (more for softening water but does some benefits to plants). since i've started using the flourish, i have noticed that a few of my plants are turning exceptionally green. hooray!:woot:
