So I had a moment if weakness when I was out shopping for plants for my tank. I was looking for a larger corner piece and I saw this plant with red stems and broad thick leaves. I'd seen it before but had never quite considered it. In the month or so it had been there it never looked like it was dying or anything. So a infamous impulse buy happened and its been in my tank for nearly a week. I have no idea what it is or anything about it, but my lighting set up is pretty powerful so I figured it would do fine. Turns out I was right. Gorgeous plant; its like an apartment for my set of mini cories. They all have a different leaf haha. But I have no idea what it is. Help!?

The pictures are really bad (taken with my ipod) but the stem is a dark red with broad, lettuce like leaves.

I'm pretty sure its not that. Its hard to see but looks like its got multiple leafs growing on a stem. If you can provide us a better picture not so cramp up in the corner. If I had to guess it looks like a Hygrophila sp. but a better picture could tell us exactly what it is.

Yh i looked it up and found that its a hygrophilia species. Thanks guys.
