This is my ten gallon tank. I know that two of the plants are watersprite (atleast thats what the LFS said), and the little one in the center is some kind of sword but I'm not sure what the other one is (front left).

This is my 29 gallon tank. I dont know what the large green and red plant is in the back right hand side. I recently read that plants with red need intense lighting, so I don't expect it to live, but it hasn't been doing too bad. Any ideas what it is?

The plant with red and green leaves is Alternanthera sessilis I think.:)

Cool, could you tell me anything about it?

For that green plant, pull your camera back about 2 feet. Crop the picture down that way the plant is in focus.

The red plant could be alternanthera sessilis, but that is unlikely as this is a fairly difficult to find plant. It is more likely to be a variety of a. reineckii. The green plant looks to be some form of ammannia or hygrophila.

I'll just take a better picture when I get home. :D

Both plants are Hygrophilas. The one on the right is a Hygrophila difformis, better known as Wisteria. The one on the right is Hygrophila polysperma. Both love lottsa light. Your red plant is a Alternanthera lilacina or cardinalis. Your pic makes it difficult to determine which one.
