Neither need root tabs although could benefit from liquid fertiliser. Both are said to grow better without floating plants covering the surface.

you can tell 100% it’s bacopa without it flowering though since many horticulturalists can’t. both can have ovate leaves and both can have round at some stages. Just usually the spacing of the leaves but even that will vary with nutrients and light source leaving some element of doubt.
