So you have $150+ for new lights and $200 for CO2 Injection?

Should go for at least 2+ watts per gallon.
High watts high + CO2 I think is what you need.
Go lower light and you might not need CO2 depending on what plants you get.
Malaysian driftwood will drop your pH and so will CO2 from what your pH is set at now.
DIY CO2 yeast reactor will cost you around $30 but is kinda a pain to balance out with pH if your worried about it. You pretty much depend on what your yeast wants to do on how much CO2 gets introduced to your tank.

I might be wrong on some things, but I gave you something to go on if your waiting for a response :)

read the stickies look at other set ups and see what you like. going higher light allows more selection of plants but also becomes alot more work. with high light you have to balance fertz co2 and light but worth it i think.

so do some research i know there is alot of stuff and come back with more specific questions its easier to help people that way.

before you can decide on plants, you need to decide whether your going high light/co2/ferts or low light/low tech. after you know what youre doing, then you can decide on plants.
