I have a plant pot i want to use as a cave on cutting it in half I noticed the centre is grey and was very hard to cut is this concrete in the middle as the outside is the regular clay colour is this safe to use

Ahh, it is terracotta. I use those types of pots in my fish tanks so you should have nothing to worry about.

Generally speaking, with any clay pots, if it was exposed to pesticides, soil, or fertilizers, you'll likely want to give it a good long soak in a lot of water or skip using it entirely, but otherwise it should be fine.
