Nothing to worry about, it's a natural instinct for them to hang out in floating plants as youngsters, but even the adults seem to enjoy it so that they don't have to work so hard when they want to breathe from the surface.
When my Senegal was younger (about 2-3"), she never came out of the plants that I had floating at the top.
Now, she's happily swimming around wherever she feels like, I rarely see her near the surface anymore.
