Hey guys, new here with the plant scenery now that i'm out of the cichlid businesns. So i got 9 potted plants in bundles planted in black sand in my 240gal. I got a fluvalx5 currently filtering it, with around 16 fish all together. I'm planning to run another fluvalx5 becuase i'm scared of all the bioload my fish is going to produce once full size. Would my plants die from lack of nutrients such as co2? Is my current setup already good and healthy? I need some answers because im planning to buy another fluvalx5 soon, any insight would be awesome!

I'll upload some pictures tomorrow, Thanks

CO2, light, and nutrients..
the fish waste produce the nutrients but excessive can cause poor water quality.

Keep an eye on you KG/GH/PH and phosphates. there is a delicate balance to KH/GH/PH. As one changes they all change. Depending on the plants you may or may not need to add CO2. Depending on the plants you may need low, moderate or high lighting.

Low light plants require the least of the 3. Try different ones and see what works in your tank :D
