Plant suggestions

I am looking for a tall grass like plant. I would prefer something that is easy to keep. I have plenty of light to grow high light plants and sufficient co2 abilities. I would prefer something that does not speard easily.

Any suggestion?

Does giant hair grass form a carpet the same way that dwarf hair grass does?

I second giant hairgrass. It doesn't really carpet, it will SLOWLY spread but you can just trim it long before it gets anywhere.

What about the sagitaria and val species. Are either one of those hard or demanding to grow.
