Hello everyone I've been lurking here for a long time but this is my first post so I figured I'd start a journal of my 180 gallon acrylic. I have had it in my garage about a month now plumbing the sump, test running, leak checking, and curing driftwood. I dont have many pics right now but my camera is charging as we speak and tomorrow is looking like the day I'll break down my 90 gallon and move it out of the way and move the monster in.

I appoligize for the quality of this pic but best I have right now, heres a bunch of driftwood I found at a local river, I drilled some 13x13 ceramic tiles I had in the garage and screwed them to the indivudual pieces of wood with aircraft grade stainless steel screws I "borrowed" from work. I soaked the wood in a tub for about a week then after I got the the sump, pump, and returns plumbed I threw them in the tank, filled up the tank and put about 2 or 3 cups of bleach in then and let her rip for about 2 weeks, drained the tank filled it up with fresh water, put some prime in and let her run for another week, I got very little Tannis. I put a pair of the girlfriends socks on the 2 overflow drains to catch any big stuff (I know I know "REDNECK" but I live in Oklahoma so I'm allowed) anyways the socks were a very light brown color and tank was crystal clear so I'm hopiong I may have got lucky on these pieces of wood.
