I am going to start a planted 55g discus tank in a few months after i finish setting up my 100g reef tank. I wanted to know a few things, will a co2 canester from my panitball gun work for my co2 injectoer or should i go with the disposibal ones? Would this light work for the tank? I was looking at the 48" for freshwater. I wanted to not be limited in the plants i could have.

The single light is a little to weak for your wants, the dual linear 48" will work well. For co2, read the stickies to get a good start, but neither of those systems you asked about will be efficient. Invest in a regulator, solenoid, bubble counter, and welding co2.

Yes, but there are cheaper, and far higher quality items than the ones Drs. F&S sell. In general Drs. F&S have very poor quality aquarium equipment for planted tanks.

whoa good thing i read this i was just about to get there fully automatic co2 system. Sorry dont mean to jump the tread but what are the better systems out there fully auto of course.:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2
