i wanna plant my baby P tank. how much work woudl it be to convert it? i am new to planting tanks so i wanan start with my smallest tank. its liek 33 galons. any ideas on how or where to start? thanks

Howdy,

That sounds like you have a fun project ahead of you, and a rewarding one as well. Planted tanks are so much nicer to look at.

I'd say let's start with the parameters of your tank: What lights do you have, what pH and what hardness?

i have no clue on my pH, my tester just shows like colours. safe good and so on. my take is more soft the hard, my tester just shows if its liek good its kinda ****. but i woudl like plants that require low lighting cuz my p's dont liek too much light :P

Howdy,

Vallisneria, Echinodorus, Cryptocoryne, Java fern are the first few that come to my mind. They're pretty hardy and do well in most tanks, even with low light. Floating plants and substrate covers generally need lots of light, I wouldn't recommend to get those.
