planted tank Filter questions and such

Hey all I have a 75g tank with an emperor 400 filter and a powerhead for water movement. I was wondering if it would be overkill or detrimental to my plants if i added a whisper 60 that i have lying around not being used. The plants i currently have are ferns anubias and swords going with low light set up. For lighting I have a GLO light fixture with 2 54w life-glo 6700k bulbs. Thanks in advance.

Should be fine. It would be different if you were using pressurized co2.

i assume youre not adding pressurized co2 with those plants you have, so it should be ok

ya not adding CO2... still a plant noob gonna start slow and work my way up
