The hygro was planted on November 15th and from then it’s has grown extremely fast. This photo is two weeks after I planted it. I don’t use any co2 or fertilizer. I have two 16” or 18” led grow lights that are on a timer for 8 hours. I’m not seeing any algae in the tank. I cut a few of the icky leafs off and out of the water they appear brown and normal feeling. They don’t feel as if they are rotten or slimy. I can see the roots from under the tank and they are nice and white and very long. Tomorrow I am planning a substrate swap from gravel to Black Diamond media. I’ve already washed and rewashed the media till it’s clear.
