planted tank pleco question

Im doing a 75 gallon planted discus tank. Plants growing out as we speak. Was wondering what may be the best looking pleco choice if any for my tank.

I have a heavily planted 90g. I have a bn, L114 and 5 chubby plecos in there. They BN displays himself a lot on the wood and plants. I would consider a BN

"Apistomaster" would keep L134 with his discus. They do well in warm weather. The only problem is if you feed a lot of beefheart, these plecos can get bloat. Search for his posts in planetcatfish.

Ive done a bit of searching. Not sure im a fan of the BN even though im sure they will work well with my setup. Im looking for something more just to show rather than really do anything else. Just the fact i have discus is whats making it a bit difficult.

Just get a carnivorous pleco that won't eat your plants. L282, l114, or l091 for example.

Hypancistrus species won't get large enough to disturb the plants or outgrow the tank, and will do well on the meaty left overs from the discus.

They may not eat the plants but they get big. Big plecos make big messes and might uproot plants as the swim.

Any of the 3 gold nuggets would look stunning in a planted tank. L018, L177, and i forget the other L#, but the greenery will really contrast with his black and yellow!! i have an L177.

I ordered a golden nugget last night. I love there markings an will kinda blend into the surroundings of the tank an kinda go unsuspected. But id still lkike to add something else. Maybe a clown, or peppermint....not sure the L#
