Planted tank questions

I haves 36 bowfront that I would like to use.
I was thinking that i wanted some Anubis, Amazon swords, and Lilaeopsis.

Is there a specific wpg or fixture anybody would recommend?

Is there a substrate that would be best? I would prefer sand. But would I need to dose fertilizers?

I had swords in my 36 bow with playsand and a dual t5ho fixture, aquaticlife I believe. Worked too well as the sword took up half the tank. The swords do best with root tabs.

I was thinking about using the Stoney river premium silicate sand.

I was going to use the cheap led strip but if it worked too well with t5s I'll go with a more subdued option.
