whoah! thats amazing! i'll buy java moss tommorow for easy maintenance

Java Moss... nooooo....

I'm honest option it's worse then duck weed. Consider robust swords like UWE's tank. I'm also using swords, Cyperus helferi, three kinds of anubias, NZ pygmy weed to name a few.

My senegal loves to play in them and one of the Delhezi's likes to stalk it's Hikari pellets amongst them.

Stu :)

What is wrong with java moss? mine love it!

hmm I think the younger ones like plats more, my delhezi has a cave he mad out of sag roots

If anyone doesn't want plants that are highly demanding for lights, ferts, etc, you may try Cryptocoryne sp., Nymphaea sp., Hygrophila sp., Echinodorus sp., Java ferns, Java moss and anubias. For floating plants, some prefer to be kept in open topped tanks so think twice before you get your plants. Most plants particularly the Pistia stratiotes do not like condesation forming on their leaves and tend to die in the process.
