Currently have in a 100 gal divided tank: 2 -8” tiger Oscar’s, then on the other side, 2 - 1.5” jack dempseys, 1 - 3” rainbow shark, 1 - 2” blood parrot, 2 - 3”ish russels catfish. Run a FX6 canister and a few small pumps for flow, 3 air stone lift pumps.
now for plants! ???2 Java ferns,1 lucky bamboo, 1 bunch scarlet temple, random sprigs of hornwort I keep propagating, and water wisteria dotted throughout. Substrate is 2” of organic soil, capped with 2.5” of pool filter sand.
question! Finally…. What plants will jive with big ol’ fish, grow aggressively, and I can fill ‘most’ of the tank with???Any super aggressively growing grass/carpet types I should look for? I DO NOT have a CO2 injection system currently…
