Hey I am wondering what kind of lighting I should do for my 135g. I plan to have low to moderate style plants. I did some research and some people say to have around 1-2.5gpw or they say to do it by lumens which I would need about 25k to get about a moderate setting. I don't know if i should go with a 2x T5HO 36" or just a 72", i planned on getting a ready-to-fit fixture so I can attach it to a canopy, but I don't think they have 72" in ready-to-fit kits. And also what kind of bulbs would i need to get.

This is the list of plants I plan to have:
Sagittaria Subulata
Anubias
cryptocoryne spiralis
cryptocoryne wendtii 'brown'
microsorium peropus narrow

From my research the Saggittaria Subulata requires moderate lighting.

Thanks for any advice, I am way too overwhelmed with this right now.

I would think two smaller fixtures would be cheaper than a 72" fixture. The color temp you will want for plants should be around 6500K. I would try to stay below 2.5wpg if possible. Anything higher and it really becomes a balancing act between light, ferts and CO2. You will run into algae issues if you go above 2.5wpg without ferts or CO2 injection.

All of the species you listed, except the sag, are fairly easy low light plants. I don't think you'll have any problems getting them to grow with either of those light combos.
