Im looking to get into planting a 75 I have cycling. Stock will be one Cuban cichlid currently about 2". Looking for a bit of advice on lighting for starters. Was looking at http://www.marinedepot.com/Current_...quariums-Current_USA-CU01127-FWLTFIT5-vi.html but Im not positive and Im open to suggestion so long as the tank remains covered (hes a jumper for sure) Also I am on a bit of a budget, arent we all? Once I get advice on lighting Ill throw my aquascaping plan out so you guys can pick it apart lol. Looking forward to replies and thanks in advance for helping out a noob!

its going to be difficult to start a live planted tank on a budget. but if your just looking for advice on a light i would go to lowes and buy a 2 or 4 bulb T8 light and buy hooks and small chain to hang it from your ceiling. or if you can find another way to fit it on top. then buy your T8 bulbs get 6500 Daylight full spectrum flouresent bulbs. I did this on my brothers 55 gallon tank and it costed me a grand total of about 30 dollars if you use the chain from ceiling method. I recommend using a wavepoint light system. here is the site. wavepointtechnology.net but they run over $250. goodluck. if you have anymore questions post em!
