In my con fry tank I notice that the fry tend to pick at the algea on my plants. Now my tank does not have hardly any algea in it, but the plants have enough on them just to look dirty. I was wondering is there any kind of plant I can put in the fry tanks for them to pick on and eat off of? Just thought it might help them grow a bit faster.

I've heard java moss, although I have no personal experience with it. They do seem to eat the algae though, I let it grow in my fry tank.

Anything that is fine leaved will work well. These will catch particulates, and hold onto them to allow the con fry to feed on them.

Any suggestions exactly? Cause I really dont know much about plants at all. Is Java Moss a good idea?
