I'm new to plants, but I would like to try some in my community tank. My tank has a low ph and I was wondering if that matters to plants, and if it does what kind of plants are suited for that kind of tank?

Mine is right around there, it's for my 22 gallon, and I have a hunk of driftwood in there that is a show piece and it keeps the ph pretty low. I dont have co2 though
Low pH will not affect the plants much. Some african plants will have a noticed slowing in growth, but otherwise no problems. My planted tank hits a low of 5.8, and I know many that go as low as 5.0.
