I have tried several diff types of live plants in my cichlid tank they seem to eat them all wtf?? i feed them zuccini(misspelled) regularly dont know what to do.

Even if they don't eat them, most cichlids dig and will uproot them anyway.

What kind of cichlids are you keeping?
There are some that do fine with plants Discus, Angels, Rams and other apistos, Geos. ect.

Valisneria is about the only plant that can sort of survive mbuna attack. Plant it quite deep and hope for the best. I just kept on replanting and it seemed as though my greshakei was playing a game with me. Fortunately that grass is not too expensive so I just keep on adding new grass every 4-5mths.

I keep Valisneria gigante, Anubias, Crinum taianum and Java moss without problems in my African tanks.

thanks ill give those a shot cuz i really dont wanna go the plastic route i like to keep a natural look.
