Hello,
How do these plants sound for a 29g tank with 65W of lighting?

1 Anacharis
1 Anubias nana for my driftwood
1 Banana Plant
1 Dwarf Hairgrass
1 Green Cryptocoryne
2 Brazilian Swords
1 Rotala Indica
1 Water Sprite (I hear they take baddies out of the water, Is it true?)
2 Myrio
1 Temple

Thanks.

Sounds good to me.

Sounds a little akward to me, with the water sprite, and banana plant. Also, the banana will shade out several plants, which is something to consider, especially with some medium-high light plants. The water sprite will grow fast, and will take up a lot of space. The Anacharis is also fairly quick to overtake an area, as well as myrio, crypts and swords (echinodorus species). With so many fast growing large plants, you will run out of room fast. Are you going to implement CO2, or ferts?

If I were to take out the sprite and maybe even the banana plant would I be fine? I am using a fertilizer called Fluorite. Thanks. :D

Seachem Flourite is a substrate. Unless there is a fertilizer named fluorite that I havent heard of yet.

I use Tropica Mastergrow as a fertilizer and have had great results.

You might want to check it out. http://www.tropica.com/article.asp?type=news&id=686

There are other good ones out there too. Ive only personally used this one.

Hmm water sprites may not be a good. shoice. The Bannanna Plant you may want to put in the Corner.

Scratching the two plants would be fine. Plant substrates are a type of fertilizer, however, they are not going to put much in the way of nutrients into the water column, nor will they have all the nutrients needed. Look at Greg Watson's ferts. He has good quality ferts, that are cheap in price. Far better than any liquid fert I have used to date.
