so I have never had plants(on purpose) in my tanks and I just figured id throw this out to the people how know best. so I have a tank (kiddie pool) that is 500 gallons and it has guppies and a 3 foot alligator gar. so here is the problem i have, I would like a short plant that doesn't need co2 or fertilizers I have a pretty good light that grows plants and will a plant that provides a lot of cover for the small fry but something that wont get in the way of the gar to much. I like the look of dwarf sag but i'm not sure if this would be my best choice. I am also a fan of pictures so if you have something you would like to share please feel free.

These plants are easy to grow and can grow on driftwood, little or no maintenance needed... you do not even need sand or gravel... just secure it to wood and after few months the root will wrap around the wood
