plants for chiclids

anyone have any low care live plants to recommend to me? i have two different java ferns on my log but thats it in my tank, and i need a species that my jd wont chew/tear up. thanks!

Lillie pads. Not a lot of people use them but they're working really well in my jaguar tank.

Properly secured anubias, Amazon swords and Java ferns worked for me. Be prepared to lose a few leaves with an Oscar as an interior designer and aquascaping artist. The plants will make the water crystal clear in enough numbers.

Ah! Substrate plants. The pothos is a terrestrial plant that you can house roots submerged in the water and the rest above it. ATM I cannot think of any other robust aquatic plant you can use. Try plantfinder.
