Plants for rainbow wolf fish?

What type of plant can I purchase that doesn't require me to having to do the most by that I mean adding soil and layers .. is there a plant I can get and just throw in the tank? Tank size is a 40 breeder.
Sorry I don't know much about plants never planned on getting some but I heard rainbow wolf fish are more active with plants.

Hornwort, Java fern, and Anubias don’t need anything special. The latter two are very tough and will resist being damaged, and the former grows super fast. Hornwort can be a floater or in the substrate. Java and Anubias get tied to rocks.

Pictures 2-5 show the plants on planted tanks. It is a densely growing plant that makes for a wonderful, natural looking background in a planted aquarium. Leaves dropping from the plant are usually a sign of poor water conditions or CO2 deficiency.
