My tank has been running for 6 months+ with just drift wood. I finally found some giant nice looking plants at Michaels. They are cheap and huge. Got them in the washing machine now(no soap) to get rid of any scents. Can't wait to get them in.

Do the stems have metal running through them? That is the only thing I would be worried about. Make sure you post pics!
