I have cabomba, anibias nana, 2 corkscrews (not sure what kind), java moss, java fern, amazon swords. I have 2 watts per gallon, soil covered with pea gravel, liquid fertilizer, filter, temp is 75. the plants are super healthy as are the fish. BUT nothings grown, the java moss hasnt moved a bit in 3 weeks, everything else has been the same for a month. i just want a VERY grow out tank with a carpet of java moss. how do i get it to grow faster?

Fertilizer is always an option, try using Flourish excel tabs or liquid fertilizer. Some people think co2 injection helps, can be expensive. i personally think that it helps but its up to you to decide if its worth it.

None of this happens over night, nor in a month.

java moss grows pretty slow WITH or WITHOUT ferts/co2, anubias painfully slower. The plants you selected (except the cabomba) are pretty slow growers.

2 wpg doesnt mean squat. What size is the tank? What is the lighting system being used? You say soil covered, what is the soil?

just some leftover soil from my terreriums, its organic soil mixed with peat moss, and i put some clay balls in there too. its a 10 gallon. lighting is 2 10watt life-gro bulbs, 6700k

would help a lot if u had a rich nutrient substrates like eco complete flourite etc...or if u just planted them or the tank is not yet mature it can take some times for them to adjust.

how long is your tank running? plants just like fish, they need time to adapt to new enviroment and re-root. look like in your tank, the cabomba will start growing before other. from what i know you can inject co2, that makes them grow faster = more trimming.
