plants in SH tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
if your snakehead is big then a nice peace of bog wood so he can go and hide must be a nice size which stands up of the bottem of the tank aswell plus a nice blue or dim lighting, plants would be ok with the smaller snakeheads.but for the bigger ones you need some think thay cant rip up of the bottem.

I just kept mine in an unplanted aquarium. :P

so much easier to clean~! trying to gravel clean makes for a whole heap of fun :/

hehhe

no gravel, no plants, no driftwood! Nothing!

g0 team!;)

Sand works, bogwood with java fern or anubias growing on
it looks great, indian fern and hornwort make great floating
plants and none require strong lighting.Keeps my channas happy:)

I use vallis, java fern, shinnersia (oak leaf), dwarf sagittaria and floating indian fern. Here's a snap. As said above this only really works with the smaller species though

that looks very nice matty.my obscura just hides in his bogwood, comes out now and again.he even moves the bogwood to how he wants it lol
