what the best plant for the cichla? i want to get some plants for them to hide in any suggestions? could any one post some pictures of the plants they have in there tanks? thanks in advance
 
anubis works great, its low light, easy to attach to driftwood, and has big leaves, they dont need much, i dont have co2 or fertilizer or anything like that just a good light

Cichla have little regard for anything that getting in there way, including plants. I recommend something hardy and that grows fast so that they can keep up with the cichla.
 
i got some jungle val today and moved more rocks out of them tank so now they have more room. What you guys think? please dont mind the pics ther off my phone. i would like some advice on how to make my tank better. thanks in advance.

good luck with the plants as cichla love to destroy whatever may be in the tank mine have chewed and dragged my plastic plant but it's still around

ive notice what you are talking about :ROFL:. but they seem to leave them alone when i put the plants in the corner of the tank. i got thinking and i was like hmmmm, does these plants benifit this tank or any tanks at all? So im asking anyone thats way more quailified than me to give me some advice. thanks
