Hello
I have a 30 gallon long non heated (70 to 74 degree) darter tank which has 1 to 3 inch round pebble type rocks. 2 watts light per gallon .
The tank has good water movement but nothing that would disturb the plants.

The Darters come from streams with plants and read they will breed on plant leaves. I could go with fake plants but rather not.

I am looking for plants that could grow between these rocks no gravel needed .

I took some plants from my pond just to show look I want but these are warm water plants and floating plants thus cant fathom them taking hold.

Any plant suggestions?

Thanks

I didnt consider Java fern because thought water temps to cool but looked it up after you suggested it and isnt to cold so going to try it .

Thanks

Anubias, Java moss or Java ferns are your best bets.
