i have a 55 gal tank with baby indo dats and flag tail in it
i have some anubis in it as decor the water is at around 80 degrees and im running 2.6 wats per gal and the plants are starting to turn yellowish at the ends what can i do to keep them bright and healthy?

ok ty!
any one have any comments on what i need to do then? keeping in mind i want anubis type only plants water is at 80 and i dont want to spend alot on it as the fish them selfs are the view just want some healthy anubis in the back round

2.6 watts per gallon? What size tank? What kind of lights? 2.6 watts of T5 vho is asking for trouble. Wattage rule is only good for old flourescents, but even still just to get you in the ballpark. Depends on your tank depth also.

Any case, yellowing tends to be iron deficiency. If you don't have a decent substrate made for planted tanks, i'd recommend to add iron, to either the substrate or water column. Hell add ferts anyway. Good luck.

ok ty

its about 2 foot tall ya they are t5s there are 4 with 32 watts per bulb 36 x 4 = 144 = by 55 gal =2.61 ya every one is saying iron so far so ill buy some ferts with anubis what is the best type to buy?

t5's don't come in 32 watt versons a 55 gallon tank is 4 feet long a standard t8 four foot bulb is 32 watts it seems to me that you have 4 t8 bulbs and not t5's

it's still enough light anyway so no harm no foul

yellowing leaves usualy is a iron deficiency. Iron is used by the plants cells to make chloroplasts the structures that contain chlolorphyll which makes the plant green and allows it to photosynthesize

personaly i believe that with a low light plant like anubias you could get away with cheapy big als brand fertilizer or sometihng like that

Get some sort of liquid trace fertilizer, which will have chelated iron. Seachem makes some good ferts and carbon (co2 alternative). Your lights are ok. Just noticed you said you have anubias. Sometimes if you bury anubias' roots they will hate you and die.
