Plants with LMB & Bullhead?

Can i put plants with these two? I had native plants, but they die in the winter months. I was thinking an amazon sword, but if it will just get dug up or eaten, I don't want to bother. Any opinions?

Bullheads and plants.......haha I can only comment on mine. My bullheads have a personality of a baby pitbull that's all I gotta say.

Might work with the bass put probably not the bullhead. Try some floating plants so the bullhead cannot dig them up. I suggest elodea, it can survive floating or rooted, is fast growing, cheap and easy to grow.

Put in Java Fern and some driftwood, the fish are active and damage it a bit, but they don't eat it.

i have heard of bull heads eating plants and some that dig up plants all the time. i guess it depends on your bull head if he is going to dig up plants but as far as them eating plants. im sure if he jyst keep him full it will be fine. i have onlu heard of them doing this rarely

maybe I'll get him one of those shock collars, will they work under water?
